Storm 4 Jed Raises $15,000

Last spring our little friend Jed was involved in a serious lawnmower accident at his home. His injuries were severe and included the loss of one of his legs, resulting in the need for a prosthetic limb. When we heard Jed's story, we wanted to help him and his family.

Throughout the autumn months we collected donations at both our St. Catharines and Fonthill locations, set up a GoFundMe page, and hosted a Cut A Thon in October. We were also able to secure an incredibly generous donation of $5000 through our friends at Lina Linguini's and Fresco's Euro Grille in St. Catharines.

In total, we raised $15,000 for Jed and his family. We are so grateful for the absolutely overwhelming show of support from our incredibly generous clients, to our staff for donating their time and talent for the Cut A Thon, and to our friends at Fresco's and Lina's. This money will help Jed and his family manage the costs of travel and accommodation in Toronto while Jed continues his rehabilitation.

The Storm philosophy is all about giving back. We were pleased to be able to play a small role in helping the Seehagel family through this trying time. Jed has weathered his Storm with a smile and continuous optimism, and has been an inspiration to us all.

Once again, to all of those who helped - THANK YOU.
